After months of searching different avenues to find our daughter outdoor play equipment for Christmas 2019, I realised that there are a number of items that I wanted, but couldn’t get here in Western Australia. I tried to make it work, but kept coming back to the desire to have a 3 metre slide, allowing for a 1500 mm high platform as this would let her to use the play equipment for longer.
The slide I wanted was only available over east, so I was faced with $200 – $300 delivery to get them to us. Eventually I decided that I would do something about it, for not only my daughter, but for all children in Perth.
I found a wonderful wholesaler in NSW that agreed to support me in this venture. They supply me with my monkey bars, slides, swings, accessories, and everything else you need to be able to create your own custom cubby or fort. We bring over 20 slides at a time as they are sold and ordered, trying to allow for peaks and lows.
We have since decided to add educational toys to our range as we found the same difficulty getting pikler triangles and balance boards in Perth. Our educational range includes wooden and plastic toys from various suppliers based on what we would like ourselves, but we’re always happy to try to source something from the same range if we don’t already advertise it.
We are a small micro business, operating out of our home. This means if you contact us, you will either reach Nadine or Matt and may here small children in the background of a call. We have just recently had a second baby. This means all pick ups are being done with Matt, generally on weekends or if he happens to be home during the week.
